Re: Obvious
Sun, November 14, 2004 - 9:25 AMNaturally, that is obvious, but what do you REALLY think? -

Re: Obvious
Sun, November 14, 2004 - 9:49 AMI think that someone a little more open minded will help the entire peace process. Right now it is like two equally pig headed people are just as stubborn as the other, well until Arafat died... more cooperation is needed. -

Re: Obvious
Sun, November 14, 2004 - 2:48 PMMaybe my latent nazi is coming out here, but I think Israel has done sooo much already, notably Rabin and Barak's efforts, that it can do little more than repeat old offers. More cooperation, sure, but I think it will be completely up to whoever or whatever takes over as head of the P.A. to bring that about. Sharon is no statesman, but he has shown a willingness to compromise, even against his party. He just isn't naive about reality. I see this as a chance to bring an end to the whole mess, or, more realistically, the begining of a war.
